Information of company

        Formerly, Central Vietnam Metal Corporation – CEVIMETAL was a State-owned enterprise, a member of Vietnam Steel Corporation (VNSTEEL). A brief description of its history of establishment and development is as follows:

  • In 1995, Central Vietnam Metal and General Materials Company came into being according to Decision No. 1065 QD/TCCB-DT dated December 20, 1994 by the Minister of Heavy Industry. It was the merging between Danang Metal Company and Danang Scrap Materials Company.
  •  In 2004, it was renamed Central Vietnam Metal Corporation – CEVIMETAL according to Decision No. 221/QD-TTC dated February 10, 2004 by Board of Management of Vietnam Steel Corporation and remain until now.
  • On December 31, 2004, the Ministry of Industry decided to equitize the Company under the Decision No. 3568/QD-TCCB.
  • The Company operates as a equitized one from January 1, 2006. This point of time is one significant change in its history, that helps the Company become more active on the way of its development and global integration.

        The Company operates under Laws of enterprises and subject to the Company’s regulations and provisions approved by Shareholders’ Meetings and Board of Management which are suitable for current Vietnamese Laws and other regulations for the Company operation.

       With over 30 years of operation in steel industry, we are always aware of “Quality of products and services is the reputation and determines the stability and sustainable development of Cevimetal”. This is Cevimetal’s motto.

        During its development, the Company is really a confident connection taking customers to the steel industry in domestic and international market, through its large sales network to serve all requirements from clients in the middle area and the whole country.

        The Company owns a staff of professional economists, engineers, technicians and well-trained workers with full experiences, which determines the business success of the Company.

       The Company has 15 Units widely located in most areas of the Country, operating subject to Company’s authorization. Thanks to this network, the Company always performs all which has been guaranteed to customers in full and at the right time, and set up Company’s reputation and position in domestic and overseas markets.

        CEVIMETAL’s operation currently complies with Quality Management System ISO 9001:2008 (certified by SGS United Kingdom). Company’s product with trademark “MT” has won awards of “Gold Star for Vietnamese Product”
